Who we are

Boss Hog Holiday Lighting LLC (collectively, “Boss Hog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides custom holiday, event, commercial, and permanent lighting services. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use bosshoglighting.com, request a quote, communicate with us, or receive our services.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, mobile or other phone number, service address, property details, lighting preferences, preferred dates, communications, quote and project information, payment and transaction records, and text-message consent status. We may also collect basic device, browser, analytics, security, and website-usage information.

How we use information

We use information to prepare designs and estimates; respond to inquiries; schedule, provide, maintain, and bill for services; send service communications; provide customer support; maintain business records; secure and improve our website and operations; comply with law; and, when you have provided the required consent, send promotional or seasonal communications.

Text messaging

Our online quote and design-request forms have separate service and promotional SMS consent boxes, both unchecked by default. Selecting “Required service text messages” authorizes service-related, non-promotional messages from Boss Hog Holiday Lighting LLC about your request, quotes, designs, scheduling, crew arrivals, installation, invoices, payment confirmations, and service updates. Selecting “Optional promotional text messages” separately authorizes recurring marketing messages about seasonal offers, availability, discounts, and new services. Choosing Text as your preferred contact method does not by itself provide SMS consent.

Service-text consent is required to submit an online quote or design request. Promotional consent is optional and is not a condition of submitting a request or purchasing services. If you prefer not to receive texts, request an estimate by calling (479) 354-5389 or emailing info@bosshoglighting.com. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing services. Previously recorded choices remain as recorded unless you authorize a change. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of all SMS messages or HELP for help, or contact us to update only your service or promotional preference. Opting out of text messages does not prevent non-SMS communications about an active request, transaction, or service where permitted by law. Additional terms appear in our Terms and Conditions.

Mobile-information sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information or share the contact information and form answers you submit with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Optional Meta advertising measurement is described below. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers that help us deliver messages, operate our systems, or provide customer support, but only as necessary for those services and subject to appropriate restrictions.

Other service providers and disclosures

We may use service providers for website hosting, customer relationship management, communications delivery, analytics, security, payment processing, and other business operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction. These disclosures do not permit recipients to use your SMS opt-in data for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand traffic, measure advertising or campaign performance, and improve the user experience. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, though some site functions may be affected.

We use the Meta Pixel to measure our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising unless you turn it off. The Meta Pixel receives eligible page visits and an event when our system accepts a free design request, together with browser and device information such as cookie identifiers and IP address. This helps measure our advertising. We do not send your contact information, address, form answers, or SMS consent to Meta, and we do not enable advanced matching. Only recognized campaign parameters and public page addresses are eligible; pages with other URL parameters, unrecognized fragments, or private continuation links are excluded from Meta measurement.

To opt out, use “Ad measurement settings” on any page and choose “Turn off Meta measurement.” Your choice is saved in your browser, so clearing your browser data or using another browser or device may require you to opt out again. We also treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as an opt-out of Meta measurement. Your choice is separate from service and promotional SMS consent and does not affect submitting a request. Opting out does not recall events already sent. After Meta measurement is stopped on a page, turning it back on applies on the next full page load; it does not restart tracking or reload your current form. A page restored with Back or Forward may remain stopped until a full page load. Our existing Google analytics operates separately.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, documenting consent and opt-out requests, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or business obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP and can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the method included in those emails. You may still receive necessary transactional or legally required communications through other channels.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. The “Last updated” date shows when it was most recently revised. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law.
